Shrike small assault craft

Most of the Swordmasters of Hoerth hone their martial skills in the White Tower of the same name. Still, there are skils which cannot be learned except by doing, and so the Swordmasters also are found in various difficult terrains and climates. They practice their forms in high mountain passes, learning to breathe thin air and ignore bitter cold. They practice in tight dark forests where motions are constrained by bough and vine. They practice on the seas where the elements are most chaotic.

When a group of swordmasters do make their way to the coasts to master their skills upon the sea they are welcomed by the Lothern sea guard. The small ships of the Swordmasters do not carry any appreciable missiles but they offer significant close in support to the larger ships of the elven fleet.

Special rules:
coordinated assault- the Shrike squadron can make normal boarding actions or can make a coordinated assault. In the case of the coordinated assault do not roll a boarding action as each ship completes its move. Instead wait for the entire squadron to finish and then roll a boarding action for the Shrikes as if they were a single vessel. They combine their crew for purposes of determining their bonus in the boarding action. Only ships contacting the same target may combine forces. The target gets to count cannons facing all the Shrikes for purposes of repelling borders (but each cannon only counts once).

Shallow draft-for purposes of running aground the Shrike's below the waterline save is 2+.
